This project was the most challenging so far, it was a 4 days solo project that involved research and interviews and a bunch of techniques like, kanban, empathy map, MoSCoW for prioritization, card sorting, positioning map, visual competitive analysis, moodboard and of course also the low, mid and high-fi prototype for different “displays”
Team: Solo
Tools: Figma, principle, and zeplin
Timing: 4 days
Briefing: Redesign an actual event site with some flaws, improve the design and solve the current issues.

So my choice as a board game aficionado was the Internationale Spieltage Essen spiel (also known as Essen spiel), which is one of the biggest if not the biggest conventions in the world. The main goal of the site is to keep informed of the users, and also sell tickets and both are failing. The usability of the site is quite confusing, the information architecture is a chaos and to find the “button” to buy a ticket is an odyssey if you don’t know previously the web.
And here was my challenge, keep the structure in some way, but improve the usability, the information architecture, and the aesthetics. We can also call it in this way, improve the experience that the users will have interacting with that interface, all this in 4 days.
